it's in our brand dna

born out of the need to feel comforted, alyssa wasko founded donni in 2009 after the death of her father, donald. finding peace in creative work, she launched a line of oversized scarves that could be wrapped and worn in countless ways, establishing her collection as an accessory line. after seeing how her product and concept were catching the attention of fashion editors and being adopted by new customers, she knew she was onto something special and grew it into the lifestyle brand that it is today.

don’t worry––we still sell scarves.

commitment to keeping it local.

we are committed to contributing meaningfully to our los angeles community, so we are intentional about keeping all of our business operations local. it is our mission to keep our fabrics locally milled or sourced, that each piece be locally constructed, and that we continue to ship all of our orders out of our l.a. warehouse. we also make sure to only partner with fair wage companies and actively seek partnerships with women-owned businesses. we genuinely want to make sure that donni leaves this community better than we found it.
