introducing eco-friendly fabrics

as part of an ongoing initiative at donni. towards increasingly environmentally-friendly garment production, we are excited to release two eco-friendly fabrics as part of our holiday '21 collection. meet eco-fleece & butter.

eco-fleece

♡ our eco-fleece fabric is made of certified organic cotton (70%) and recycled polyester (30%).

♡ our organic cotton component is processed according to the global organic textile standard and originates from india.

♡ our recycled polyester is processed according to the global recycled standard.

butter

our butter fabric is made of tencel lyocell™. this fabric is known for its eco-friendly origins and cooling properties.

about tencel:

♡ tencel is manufactured from the wood and cellulose of sustainably harvested eucalyptus trees, making the manufacture of tencel extremely environmentally friendly!

♡ our tencel is lending branded. lenzing processes its raw materials when possible in closed loop production cycles, and fibers are biodegradable at the end of their life cycle. its closed loop production process transforms wood pulp into tencel™ lyocell fibers with high resource efficiency and low ecological impact.

♡ tencel is certified biodegradable, is produced from sustainable sources and is from botanical origins.

♡ tencel has natural cooling properties.
